So the war has been going on for a week. Today, when I was reading the newspaper, I saw Uncle Putin on television. It’s so pity to see his stressful face. Not as smart as the day he read the declaration of war. In terms of media, he is far behind the president of Ukraine. President Zelenskyy was on air every morning even though the National TV tower was damaged by Russian cruise missiles. People saw an unshaven president with sleep-deprived eyes. Looking at him, we see and feel the real connection.

Uncle Pu summed up on the Russian’s side: To this day, about 500 Russian soldiers died and 1600 were injured (of course, their subordinates did not dare to report correctly). Uncle announced the "combat death award" for each soldier who died in the fighting was $62,000 (Russian Ruble), injury is $36,000. The Ruble currency is tumbling down uncontrollably. It looks like the parents of Russian soldiers or wives and children won't get much or nothing at all. At the end of the broadcasting, as usual, he howls out a few empty threatening words. Uncle Pu has not changed, he is still the same.

The battlefield situation at the moment seems that it might be better for him. After the bankruptcy of the "hit fast....lose fast" strategy, he changed the general in charge of the campaign and changed the strategy to the "Sure hit....for Sure lose". The Russian has attacked for so many days but just managed to occupy a small remoted port city in the South. I wrote in the previous post, if fighting a war like this, the war will drag on for a long time. If already occupy a location, you have to protect it while facing the hostile confrontation of the locals, then boosting your reinforcements to move on to attack elsewhere. In military language it is called the "springboard". That is for sure. But the number of fighters must be large in order to carry out both defense and attack. A few hundred thousand of soldiers in a hostile country as large as Ukraine is like pouring salt into the vast sea. If the Ukrainian people supported Pu, it would be easy, but they didn't and are resisting strongly, so it takes a lot of troops and a lot of time.

Just like I have already predicted, the Russian army is now planning to attack boldly, they might resort to using mass destruction weapons such as thermobaric bombs. Watching the devastations in the recent war was terrifying. The buildings were shredded into in-recognizable rumbles, of course the dead bodies were not in tack, dismembered to shattered corpses. Fighting and winning the war with the barbaric way like this I can do too. Flatten the city to the ground and then march the army in, win the battle is for sure.

I have been watching and noticed that Ukrainian regular troops had not yet shown up. Do not know where they have been hiding. During the last week, there were still only defence militia in the uniforms of the armed locals, similar to those local militias of the Republic of South Vietnam in the past. Even with these resistances alone, the Russian army still could not advance and suffered heavy lost in military hardwares. So when the regular army units of Ukraine do appear, there are only deaths and heavy lost on the Russian side. Because when the regular armed forces go to battle, they will launch a large number of professional, well equipped and battle-harden soldiers with plenty of artillery supports. The principle of operation is to know where the battlefield is and how many enemy troops are in there, and what weapons are available. So do the attackers. Sometimes they let a few small groups of troops to hit-and-run to lure the regulars to show up then try to destroy them. War is like playing chess. Whoever has a well prepared plan will win. Vietnam is very good at this kind of war. Just let the enemy advance, avoiding the storm at first. Using guerrillas to harass and weaken the enemy. Finally, the main army units enter the battle. Fighting like that is in the Vietnam’s history of thousands of years, Vietnamese people had many great victories against the invading force from the North. I predict that after waiting for the yielding of Public’s Approval (the whole world are supporting its cause), getting the right location to attack (the Russian troops have already entered the area the Ukraine wanted and are already physically tired after a week long on the move). There is only the last element left: the Right Timing. Like Zhuge Liang (Khong Minh), waiting for the east wind in the battle of Red Cliffs (Battle of Chibi –Xich Bich). Ukrainians are waiting for Spring to come. Snow melts. Soil will be soggy. The rivers will be flooded. The banks of the rivers that were once narrow have now become as vast as the ocean. The invading Russian armies must stop and take a defensive stance. This is the time for the great army force of Ukraine to come out to cut and destroy them one by one. I suspect Ukraine hides her troops in safe places in the west with thick forests and high mountains, and close to the countries that are supplying weapons and ammunition to them. And if it is true that the Ukrainian armed forces only have very few defenders, then the Ukrainians was already been defeated a few days ago. You folks should believe in JNN’s prediction, a country next to a big and very evil country, its people must always have a plan to protect their country. Small and short people like the President of Ukraine always scare me and make me noticed! They possess full stamina and resolve.

Vậy là chiến tranh đã diễn ra được một tuần. Bữa nay xem báo thì thấy bác Putin lên truyền hình. Nhìn mặt bác thấy thương quá. Không còn đanh thép như hôm đọc bài tuyên chiến. Về truyền thông thì bác thua xa ông tổng thống Ukraine. Ông đều lên sóng mỗi sáng dù tháp truyền hình đã gẫy. Người dân nhìn thấy một tổng thống râu ria chưa cạo và đôi mắt thiếu ngủ. Nhìn vô ta thấy có sự chia sẻ.

Bác tổng kết tính tới bữa nay có khoảng 500 lính Nga chết và 1600 bị thương ( dĩ nhiên thuộc cấp đâu dám báo cáo đúng). Bác ra giá mỗi em chết được " tiền tuất " là 62,000 đô ( Úc). Bị thương là 36,000 đô. Có điều tiền rúp đang xuống giá. Coi bộ cha mẹ hay vợ con người lính không lãnh được bao nhiêu. Cuối cuộc họp bác cũng hăm doạ vài câu. Bác xưa nay vẫn vậy.

Tình hình chiến trường có khả quan hơn với bác. Sau khi phá sản chiến thuật "đánh nhanh ....thua nhanh" , bác thay tướng và đổi chiến thuật "đánh chắc.... thua chắc ". Oánh đã đời mới chiếm được một thành phố nhỏ. Tui có viết trong bài trước, đánh kiểu này thì chiến tranh sẽ kéo dài. Chiếm thì phải lo giữ, sau đó tăng viện quân đi đánh chỗ khác. Ngôn ngữ quân sự gọi là " bàn đạp ". Đánh vậy rất chắc ăn. Nhưng quân số phải đông. Vài trăm ngàn như muối bỏ biển. Nếu nhân dân Ukraine ủng hộ bác thì dễ rồi nhưng họ đã không và còn chống lại nên cần nhiều quân và thời gian lắm.

Cũng như tui tiên đoán, quân đội Nga giờ chơi bạo , thả luôn bom nhiệt áp. Xem cảnh tàn phá thật rùng mình. Toà nhà bị băm vụn thành nhiều mảnh nhỏ, dĩ nhiên người chết cũng không toàn thây. Đánh kiểu này thì tui cũng đánh được. Bắn cho thành bình địa rồi tiến vô lấy gì mà không thắng.

Tui theo dõi thì thấy quân chính quy của Ukraine vẫn chưa xuất hiện. Không biết họ giấu ở đâu. Suốt tuần vẫn chỉ các đội quân phòng vệ theo kiểu địa phương quân , nghĩa quân thời VNCH . Mới chỉ các cánh quân phòng vệ này mà quân Nga đã tiến quân không nổi. Khi chính quy xuất hiện thì chỉ có chết. Vì quân chính quy khi lâm trận họ tung ra số đông với phi pháo yểm trợ. Nguyên tắc hành quân là phải biết chiến trường ở đâu và quân địch là bao nhiêu, có những khí tài gì. Bên tấn công cũng vậy. Đôi khi họ cho vài cánh quân nhỏ đánh dứ để dụ chính quy xuất hiện và tìm cách tiêu diệt. Chiến tranh y như đánh cờ. Ai có mưu trí mới nắm phần thắng. VN ta rất giỏi về loại chiến tranh này. Cứ để giặc tiến quân, tránh cái vũ bão lúc đầu. Dùng du kích quấy phá, tiêu hao. Cuối cùng đại quân mới lâm trận. Đánh vậy nên lịch sử mấy ngàn năm đều có những trận thắng lớn. Tui tiên đoán sau khi chờ NHÂN HOÀ ( cả thế giới ủng hộ ), ĐỊA LỢI ( các cánh quân Nga đã tiến sâu vào vùng họ muốn và đã mệt mỏi). Còn THIÊN THỜI nữa thôi. Như Khổng Minh chờ gió đông trong trận Xích Bích. Người Ukraine chờ mùa xuân đến. Tuyết tan. Đất sình lầy. Các con sông ngập nước. Đôi bờ sông xưa nhỏ hẹp giờ trở thành mênh mông như đại dương. Các cánh quân xâm lăng phải dừng lại và đi vào thế thủ. Lúc này là thời cơ để đại quân tiến ra chia cắt và tiêu diệt từng em một. Tui nghi Ukraine giấu quân nơi miền tây có rừng núi an toàn và gần với các nước đang vận chuyển khí giới, đạn dược cho họ. Còn nếu quả thật quân đội Ukraine chỉ có vài cánh quân phòng vệ đó thì việc thua cuộc là không tránh khỏi. Nhưng bà con cứ tin JNN, một quốc gia bên cạnh nước lớn nham hiểm, ắt hẳn người ta phải có kế để giữ nước. Mấy người nhỏ con như ông tổng thống Ukraine là tui sợ lắm!
