For a few days now, the world has become a bit noisy again after President Trump wrote a few words sharing on Twitter "Chirping Birds" that he had been approved by the White House doctor to take HCQ medicine to prevent him from being infected with this obnoxious Chinese virus!
Oh my God, TV stations, social network "pick up the storm", as usual, he was the subject of dissection, mocking and "cursing"! HCQ and Quinine are the two drugs used to treat malaria for decades. Worse and more grievous is that these curses come back from a few ARVN soldiers, more or less, they must had been marching in the deep forests or in the prisons of the North Vietnamese communists, haven’t they not to give this medicine to swallow to ward off malaria and unknown wild virus? Wives who were lucky enough to travel for thousands of kilometres, struggling through uninhabitable jungles in the high mountains in the North to visit their imprisoned husbands often brought a few tablets of this precious medicine called “Quinine” (Vietnamese is Ký Ninh) to their husbands and love ones during their harsh imprisonment in the North to ward off the best they could from the deadly malarial parasites infection!
Many of our senior soldiers and government officials of the Republic of Vietnam imprisoned by the communist North Vietnamese are currently the live witnesses about the controversial drug “Hydrocholorquine” to fight off the terrible and deadly Chinese virus which is attacking our senior citizens in our country of USA as well as the rest of the world! Why can they forget this so common but wondered drug which had saved their life so quickly? Then turning back to swear at Mr. Trump as stupid, as ignorant? Sorry, before verbally abusing someone, and especially this populate elected President, please look at yourself!
When this Chinese virus pandemic began to appear in the United States and it violently ravaged the economy of the United States, the lives of the American people were completely changed. Previously, freedom to fly, freely go around, loading things into cars and driving around the world at any time, and if you want to eat just stop at any resting area then eat, want to take the kids to the museums to gain knowledge then feel free to do it ... all these months, everything has changed. Last weekend, I heard my daughter confided and could only hug me and comforted me: "I wish my normal life was back! I just want my normal life back to the old days!” A simple dream that is hard to accomplish right now! As I shared at the beginning, Quinine pills have been used by many doctors for patients in hospitals across the United States and the results have been very positive! In my hospital, there have been many cases healed and discharged! Among those patients, there was a very serious case! The whole family was infected, including her 11-year-old son, but everyone overcame it, but only her, she could not beat it on her own strength because she had other illnesses! She laid unconscious for several weeks in the ICU (where the seriously ill patient is treated), she was given Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) for 5 days; 24 hours continuously, she was constantly receiving anesthetic drugs, pain relieving drug (fentanyl) ... sometimes it seemed that she could not make it ... and just like a miracle, she regained her conscious and after the treatment, she was discharged!
Quinine is a pill, cheap and has been on the market for decades! The English name is called hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) -an immune modulator: this drug belongs to a group of drugs called Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs (DAMRDs) and is often used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (Rheumatoid Arthritis), and used to treat malaria very effectively!
Yesterday, I asked my dad about this medicine and he said, he and among other prisoners under the communist Vietnamese regime, many people escaped death thanks to these pills!!! Ms. Nhu Quynh (mother of toxic or edible mushroom) said that the drug caused "vomiting of bile, non-stop diarrhoea, prolong use would damage vision, hearing and heart failure..." Our Republic of Vietnam war prisoners of the communist Vietnamese regime had been saved by this pill, and until now, they have lived through more than half their lives to their eighties or nineties! In inhuman jails, under constant torturing, being starved and left to die plus the worse things that Ms Nhu Quynh has bloated about the pill, all of our heroic Vietnamese soldiers and government officials must have been vanished in the communist concentration camps and hard labour prisons and their corps was scattered without any trace in the thick jungles in North Vietnam, let alone survived and being evacuated to the US!!!

When the Coronavirus pandemic broke out, this drug was tested in France with positive results (although produced in vitro testing only).
It is sad to hear the latest news that our frontline doctors in ICP units seem to be more cautious about using this HCQ drug! They are afraid of being sued, so many doctors don't dare to use it! Is that right or wrong?
Let's talk a little bit about the new medicine-Remdesivir! As everyone knows, this is the medicine used during the Ebola outbreak, which is being donated by Gilead drugstores to all hospitals across the United States to try it on patients who are suffered from this coronavirus! It is worth mentioning that, depending on the number of cases reported, each county reports to the state health agency that they receive the medication! For example, last week, Los Angeles County received 436 bottles; Kern County County received 16 vials!!! This is a liquid medicine and must be mixed with saline (normal saline), before being infused into the body! For a sufficient amount of the drug inside the body, each patient needs 6 bottles of medicine for 5 days! So in the whole county, only 16 bottles of medicine can be received, so who has the authority to decide which hospital gets the medicine, and then if the medicine comes to his hospital, who is the patient chosen to receive the medicine! I see a lot of absurdity in this? Then for the patients who do not receive medicine, if they do not survive because there are doctors who do not dare to give them HCQ medicine, what would their families think?
Not to mention the initial results show that patients receiving the drug Remdesivir have signs of affecting the liver (increase in liver enzymes), so the level of safety, not sure this is a "miracle drug", because the medicine is infused, the chances of the patients getting infection are higher than the pills, plus, this medicine is terribly expensive!!!
So, between the two drugs, one is in tablet form taken orally and cheap, one is liquid has to be infused into the body and very expensive, which one to choose? While both are yet to be approved to treat the Chinese virus! Quinine has been used widely for many, many years in many countries to cure, prevent and save many lives. The lives of thousands of the Republic of Vietnamese army and government officials imprisoned by the communist Vietnamese after the war were saved from malaria attacks and other unknown deadly viruses in the deep jungles of Vietnam. They are now living healthily in the US to their ripe old age of eighties and nineties, thanks to the Humanitarian Operation (HO) Program initiated by President Ronald Reagan in 1988.
