This month, my Uncle in-Law had two good news coming at once.

The first good news was Uncle's youngest daughter "got into the flower decorated limousine". His In-laws was on the similar social status as him. The son-in-law is also young and handsome. The scene of giving the daughter to the groom is always very touching. There is nothing like having a wedding, which many people wish for but could not have. When my first daughter got married. I also flew from Australia to Japan to hold my daughter's hand and pass it on to my son in-law. One’s life has just a few memorable moments, this is one. Watching the video of the wedding, I saw my Uncle grinning with his wide opened mouth. Everyone at the party were very happy, temporarily forgot the stress from the election.

The second good news was Uncle’s Republican Party has regained the control of the Lower House. Everyone thought that Republican Party would easily win it, but that was not the case. Democratic Party is a united party with a lot of money in its coffer. Their policies always benefit the powerful capitalists. So they don't lack money. I saw my Uncle went out to collect every penny for the election campaign. In America, with little money.... no one listens. Several former presidents of the Democrats took to the streets to campaign for their candidates. On the Republican side, he fought alone. Therefore a victory, with no matter how small the margin is, is highly valued. And I think that's the “Second Happiness".

Looking at his biography, he is not a highly valued party member of the Republican. But when he joined the party, people supported him so much, causing the "highly ranked elements" to be forgotten. So they had to react. Of course, every party benefits a great deal from a certain group of oligarchs. Uncle has stirred up and disrupted their authority about the affairs of the country. Uncle wanted politics to be for the people and for the country. He was loved by the people, but these capitalist giants bitterly hated him. This time, the candidates whom he supported, needed money to stage their campaigns in the battleground states at the closing stage of the campaign, but the party machine did not "give" any money to them and leave them to struggle on their own and from Uncle only, how the election could be won. Republican candidates lost the fight but some "banyan trees" were gloating instead. However, I looked at the faces of those blokes (some are son in-laws of big name Chinese), it is so distress to see them showing up. This time, it's probably better to dump them all into the retirement heap.

In the speech announcing his candidacy of the President for 2024 election the other day, still the familiar words that Uncle said in every rally. But this time his tone was calmed down. He is still following his path “Make America Great Again”, and I agree with that. When people trust someone, they are most afraid of betrayal or compromise. You don't need to flatter anyone or pretend to be a little demagogue to please young people, for example. He was steadfast in his ideals. But he did seem cautious. Democrats are still afraid of him, through their smear articles. If they weren't afraid of him, they wouldn't have written much about him. Now, the newspaper must have Trump's name on it. Indeed, he is their obsession. If they are “man” enough...forget about him, heh.

It's also thanks to him that I know the chronic lying of the media. In the past, I thought everything that appeared on the radio was the truth. Now they play the trick of only posting . . . “half “of the truth and then the rest just lie. Someone said to me about a statistics that: the Governor of Florida has 45% support as a presidential candidate. I asked "whose statistics was it?" Hi hi, the answer is: “don't know”. That's all the news right now. I got unfriended by many friends because of writing posts to support Him. Some chics (females) blamed me for supporting the guy who speaks bad things about women (???). Another friend said that he cheated while running his business, declared bankruptcy to steal money... and so on.... I really didn't know that but if he really did those activities he would be in jail many times. I only know that since US had him steering their Boat, the US economy was blossoming brightly, so the "satellite" countries also enjoyed the benefit from it. Not like since Biden’s reign, his green energy policy has made my face turning to "green". I have two cars to do my work, so I spend a lot of more money on fuel every week. It's also that since the US had Uncle around, people everywhere have been interested in American politics. Before Him, don't ask me what the US president's name is? I was just... numb.

Considering the age of my Uncle in Law, the year of the Dog is just suitable for him. So to the end of the year there will be full of good news. In his speech, he mentioned the word "Movement". Indeed! To succeed and move America in the direction he wishes and wants, he cannot do it alone, he needs a mass movement of people to participate with him in his bandwagon. There must be protests, there must be new young leaders, and there must be radical changes in the Republican Party. I'm glad the speech mentioned it as a wake-up call. And it's the “Double Happiness” of my Uncle in-Law Trump that has made me happy in the last few days. hi hi...

Song Hỷ

Tháng này dượng tui có hai tin vui đến một lúc. Con gái út của dượng " lên xe hoa ". Sui gia coi bộ cũng môn đăng hộ đối. Con rể lại trẻ và đẹp trai. Cái cảnh dắt con gái giao cho chàng rể là cảm động lắm. Không gì thích bằng có một cái đám cưới, nhiều người mong ước mà không có. Hồi con gái đầu của tui lấy chồng. Tui cũng từ Úc tui bay sang Nhật để được nắm tay con trao cho người rể. Đời người có mấy lần vui. Xem video, thấy dượng cười toe toét. Bà con vui lây, tạm quên đi chút căng thẳng trong lúc bầu cử.

Tin vui thứ nhì là đảng của dượng lấy lại được hạ viện. Ai cũng tưởng là CH sẽ dễ dàng đại thắng nhưng sự thật là không phải vậy. DC là một đảng đoàn kết mà lại nhiều tiền. Các chính sách của họ luôn làm lợi cho các đại tư bản. Thế nên tiền bạc họ không thiếu. Thấy ông dượng đi quyên từng đồng bạc lẻ. Ở xứ Mỹ mà tiền ít....,nói không ai nghe. Mấy cựu tổng thống của DC đều xuống đường đi vận động cho các con gà của mình. Bên CH , mình dượng đơn độc. Nên có được một chiến thắng, dù nhỏ nhoi cũng đáng trân trọng. Và tui nghĩ đó là cái " hỷ" thứ hai.

Xem tiểu sử thì dượng không phải là đảng viên gạo cội của CH. Nhưng khi ông vào đảng thì bà con ủng hộ nhiều quá, khiến các " cây đa cây đề " bị lãng quên. Thế nên họ phải phản ứng. Dĩ nhiên đảng nào cũng phải làm lợi cho một nhóm tài phiệt nào đó. Dượng vô quậy họ tanh bành. Ông ta muốn chính trị phải vì dân vì nước. Ông được dân thương nhưng bọn chúng ghét cay đắng. Lần này các ứng viên mà dượng ủng hộ, giờ chót cần tiền quảng cáo ở các bang chiến địa , mà đảng không " thí " cho đồng nào, lấy gì thắng được. CH thua mà một số " cây đa " lại hả hê mới tức chớ. Tuy nhiên tui xem tướng mặt mấy cha đó ( có cha là rể tàu ), thấy mấy chả không khá được. Lần này có lẽ về vườn luôn cho tiện.

Bài diễn văn tuyên bố tranh cử hôm kia. Vẫn là những lời nói quen thuộc mà buổi rally nào dượng cũng nói vậy. Nhưng lần này dượng trầm hẳn lại. Ông vẫn một mực đi theo con đường của mình và tui đồng ý điều đó. Khi người ta tin tưởng ai, người ta sợ nhất là phản bội hay là thỏa hiệp. Ông không cần phải nịnh bợ ai hay làm bộ mị dân một chút để lấy lòng người trẻ chẳng hạn. Ông một mực với lý tưởng. Nhưng ông đã có vẻ thận trọng. DC vẫn e sợ ổng qua các bài báo bôi nhọ. Nếu họ không sợ ông thì họ sẽ không viết nhiều về ông. Bây giờ xem báo là phải có tên Trump. Đúng thật ổng là nỗi ám ảnh của họ. Có ngon thì ...quên ổng đi.

Cũng nhờ ông mà tui biết được sự dối trá của truyền thông. Chớ ngày xưa tui nghĩ cái gì mà lên báo đài đều là sự thật. Bây giờ họ chơi chiêu chỉ đăng..." một nửa " sự thật và sau đó là điều dối trá. Có bạn nói tui là một thống kê : ông thống đốc Florida được 45% ủng hộ làm ứng viên tranh cử tổng thống. Tui hỏi " thống kê của ai làm ?". Hơ hơ không biết. Đó, tin tức giờ toàn loại như vậy. Tui bị nhiều bạn unfriend cũng vì viết mấy bài ủng hộ ổng. Có bạn ( nữ ) trách tui tại sao ủng hộ người chuyên nói xấu phụ nữ (???). Bạn khác nói ổng buôn bán lừa lọc, khai phá sản để quỵt tiền người ta... vân vân.... Tui thật không biết điều đó. Chỉ biết từ hồi có ổng thì kinh tế Mỹ khá giả , nhờ vậy mấy nước " râu ria " cũng hưởng sái. Chớ từ hồi bác Bi với chính sách năng lượng xanh khiến tui " xanh " máu mặt. Tui nuôi hai chiếc xe nên tốn khá bộn tiền xăng nhớt hàng tuần. Cũng từ hồi có ổng mà dân ta quan tâm đến chính trị Mỹ. Chớ xưa kia thì hỏi tui tổng thống Mỹ tên gì ?... tui còn... ngọng.

Xem tuổi dượng thì cái tuổi Tuất năm nay là hợp, thế nên cuối năm toàn tin vui. Trong bài diễn văn, ông có nói đến từ ngữ "phong trào" (movement). Quả thật! Muốn thành công và đưa nước Mỹ theo hướng ông muốn, không thể một mình ông làm mà được, mà cần phải có một phong trào tập hợp quần chúng tham gia. Phải có những cuộc biểu tình, phải có những lãnh đạo trẻ mới, phải có những thay đổi tận gốc rễ trong đảng CH. Tui vui mừng vì bài diễn văn đã đề cập điều đó như một sự thức tỉnh. Và chính cái Song Hỷ của ngài đã làm tui vui lây mấy bữa nay hi hi...

The time of two years have been quickly passed away since the day my Uncle in Law was controversially ousted. I thought that he's going to leisurely swing the golf ball to get in... the hole and passing on with the retiring life, and that's it. But still, he didn't give up. Campaigns have still being continuing. It's hard to follow right now because all the news about him is not widely available. The guy with the beard and the dark-skinned girl banned him forever from Twitter. YouTube or Facebook keep an eye on any article about him and send a warning. The lie about his life, the media have already taken it all, now there is no more to talk. Oddly enough, not talking about him, the stocks of these tech companies keep n dropping like flies. Don't know what the omen is. Facebook is sure to add another year before vanishing into oblivion. YouTube will die if the new boss of Twitter develops new video apps. CNN now is selling, but no one buys ....

Following my Uncle's fight with his party members is my favourite pastime. After all, in order to win, the people in the Party must unite. In the past two years he has "cleaned up" his party quite well. Most of his opponents were failed in the Party primaries. The fight was pretty tough though and caused him weighing a lot of notoriety but it was necessary. Our side hates the "stabbing soldiers in the back" style. He is right to do so. If he can't attract people in the party to his side, how can he fight the Democrats who get money from the backing of the tycoons? It seems that this year the tycoons are a bit "dry" with cash. While on Republic side, people who love him are still working hard to support. I know an old Vietnamese lady who still deducts her petty pension money to donate to the fund the election campaign for the Republic Party. Do not despise small change when it is donated with a heart, not for any benefit in return. In the post-Covid situation, the economy is in recession and war is waiting to break out everywhere. People need real souls, know how to do practical things on this planet. As people are full in their stomachs and financially well off, they start thinking about useless things like global warming, climate change or consumption of gasoline ....so to bring some intellectuals to the cloud nine. They are one-child children, inheriting their parents' wealth, do not understand that to make products or money, they have to work so hard with their butts off. It's nice and wonderful to hear that the government will reduce or drop the college debts, but don’t care where the money will come from to make up for it. Bureaucrats do not produce wealth, they waste people’s hard earnings. It’s just total illusion. Conservatives believe in God. Believe that God creates everything to serve people. Believe that if people listen to the devil, they will be punished by God’s sword. So they live humbly, according to and obeying the laws of nature. Leftists always think they are super-beings, think they can change nature. Think a strong government can take care of everyone. All things are in the cloud-nine, not on the ground. Not to mention they want something like switch a male to become a female, vice versa. Things are done against nature and they take so much pride in doing it.

The once powerful left-wing media carried the image of my Uncle with all sorts of evil things that I didn't dare to read because it was so "dirty". I just watched his work and guessed the manner of the person. A person who works hard, does not content with failure. Already over 70, he still works hard. I was watching a video of a recent rally, he talked in the heavy rain soberly. He was alone against two presidents in this midterm election campaign. Such a person is not a bad person. Tomorrow night there will be results. If the Republican Party gets a house back this time, he must have a big stake in it. People from far away like me, Chinese long range rockets can’t reach, but still look forward to meddle into the election story of a far-away country. It is not for the sake of enjoying something, but is long for the righteousness to win. As an ordinary worker, make the living with the skin harden hands, I know that humans are very frail and diminish facing with nature, so they must have a belief in a supreme being to help them to overcome the harshness. Whatever the right-wingers do, they still do not forget to pray. They understand that everything happens by the will of God.

So writing this article, I also ask my friends and their families to join in with the party, contribute a praying for him. I hope he can weather the storm to bring the conservative boat safely to shore. And if it's still ravaged by the waves, it's also... God's will. We just have to obey it.

Chuyện bầu Mỹ

Mới đó mà đã hai năm. Từ cái ngày ông dượng tui về vườn. Tui nghĩ chắc ổng lai rai đi uýnh trái golf sao cho vô ... cái lỗ là xong. Tuy vậy ổng vẫn không bỏ cuộc. Vẫn tiếp tục các buổi vận động. Có điều lúc này rất khó theo dõi vì mọi tin tức về ổng không được rộng rãi. Cái tên râu xồm với con nhỏ da ngăm cấm ổng vĩnh viễn vào Twitter. YouTube hay Facebook cứ rình có bài viết về ổng là đưa cảnh báo. Chuyện xạo về đời ổng, đám truyền thông moi hết rồi, giờ hết chiện để nói. Mà lạ kỳ, không nói về ổng là tự nhiên cổ phiếu mấy công ty công nghệ này rớt dài dài. Không biết là cái điềm gì nữa. Facebook chắc thêm năm nữa là vào dĩ vãng. YouTube sẽ chết nếu Twitter của ông chủ mới phát triển được các video app. CNN giờ bán không ai mua ....

Cái cuộc chiến của ông dượng với những người cùng đảng là tui khoái nhất. Xét cho cùng, muốn chiến thắng thì người trong đảng phải đoàn kết. Trong hai năm qua ổng " dọn dẹp " khá tốt. Hầu hết mấy ngài anti ổng đều bị rớt trong các cuộc bầu sơ bộ trong đảng. Cuộc chiến khá cam go và làm ổng bị thêm nhiều tai tiếng nhưng đó là điều cần thiết. Phe ta rất ghét cái kiểu " đâm sau lưng chiến sĩ ". Ổng làm vậy là đúng. Nếu ổng không lôi cuốn được người trong đảng thì làm sao đấu lại với DC mà được đám tài phiệt chi tiền thoải mái. Hình như năm nay tụi tài phiệt hơi " hẻo " tiền bạc. Trong khi bên CH, những người yêu mến ổng vẫn miệt mài đóng tiền ủng hộ. Tui biết một bà cụ VN vẫn trích tiền hưu ít ỏi của mình đóng vào quỹ tranh cử CH. Đừng coi thường tiền lẻ khi nó được đóng góp kèm theo trái tim chớ không phải quyền lợi. Trong cái cảnh hậu covid, kinh tế suy thoái lại kèm chiến tranh chực chờ nổ ra khắp nơi. Người ta cần những con người thực tế. Biết làm những điều thực tế ở quả đất này. Để khi nào thảnh thơi no đủ thì tính chuyện xạo sự như trái đất nóng hổi hay dẹp xăng dầu ....để đưa mấy tên trí thức bay bổng lên mấy tầng mây. Mấy cháu là con một, thừa hưởng lợi tức cha ông, đâu có hiểu muốn làm ra sản phẩm hay đồng tiền là phải trầy da tróc vẩy. Nghe được bớt tiền nợ đại học là khoái. Không hiểu tiền ở đâu sẽ bù vô đó. Toàn ảo tưởng. Những người bảo thủ họ tin có Thượng Đế. Tin ông trời tạo ra mọi thứ để phục vụ cho con người. Tin rằng nếu con người nghe theo ma quỷ thì sẽ bị lưỡi gươm trừng phạt. Vì thế họ sống khiêm nhường, thuận theo tự nhiên. Những người cánh tả luôn nghĩ mình là trời, nghĩ mình thay đổi được tự nhiên. Nghĩ một chính phủ mạnh có thể lo hết được cho mọi người. Toàn những chuyện trên mây chớ không phải dưới đất. Chưa kể họ còn muốn cái kiểu như nam chuyển thành nữ chẳng hạn. Những chuyện đi ngược với tự nhiên và họ hãnh diện vì làm được điều đó.

Truyền thông cánh tả một thời mạnh mẽ đã đưa hình ảnh ông dượng với đủ mọi thứ xấu xa mà tui không dám đọc vì nó " bẩn " quá. Tui chỉ theo dõi cách làm việc của ổng mà đoán ra con người. Một người làm việc miệt mài, không chấp nhận thất bại. Đã ngoài 70 mà sức làm việc vẫn mãnh liệt. Tui được xem một video buổi rally mới đây , ổng nói chuyện dưới cơn mưa lớn tỉnh queo. Một mình ổng đấu với hai ông tổng thống trong cuộc vận động bầu cử giữa kỳ lần này. Người làm việc như vậy không phải người xấu. Đêm mai chắc có kết quả. Nếu lần này đảng CH lấy lại được một viện, hẳn là ổng có phần đóng góp lớn ở trong đó. Người phương xa như tui, hỏa tiễn bắn không tới mà vẫn trông ngóng xía vô cái chuyện của xứ người ta. Không phải vì mong hưởng sái cái gì mà chỉ mong Lẽ Phải được chiến thắng. Là người thợ , sống bằng bàn tay chai đá, tui biết con người rất yếu ớt và nhỏ nhoi trước thiên nhiên nên phải có một niềm tin vào một Đấng Tối Cao giúp mình vượt qua sóng gió. Người cánh hữu làm điều gì vẫn không quên cầu nguyện. Họ hiểu rằng mọi việc xảy ra là do ý muốn Thượng Đế. Nên viết bài lúc này, tui cũng xin bà con cùng ... phe, góp một lời cầu nguyện cho ổng. Mong rằng ổng vượt qua được sóng gió để đưa con thuyền bảo thủ đến được bến bờ. Mà nếu nó vẫn còn bị sóng đánh tơi tả thì cũng là ... ý trời. Ta phải tuân theo thôi.
